Preparing Food

shirleybill started this conversation

Take a look around in your kitchen. With just a few things, you can prepare a simple meal. For instance if you have one can of tuna in your cabinet or pantry, that is enough to feed a family of four or more, if you add a can of pork and beans, and perhaps a box of macaroni and cheese.

You open the can of tuna, dumping out the juices that are in the can.

Chop some onion, depending on the amount that you like. I usually add a lot of onion. At least a half an onion. Good flavor.

Chop some bell pepper. Again, depending on how much you want to add. I normally add at least a forth of a bell pepper.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Add one egg, and stir.

Add about 1/4 cup of flour. Stir. If it's too thick, you may want to either add a second egg, or add just a tiny amount of water.

Heat your oil in a skillet. Drop by teaspoon fulls into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown.

My sister is a very picky eater, and she even likes this one. She even asked me to come over and cook this for their anniversary dinner. I call them Tuna Patties.

Add cornbread to complete you meal.

This is a very economical meal, that i think just about anyone could afford to make, and it does not require much time at all.
